- To conduct the "Ideathon," a competition to find the outstanding entrepreneurial ideas for a variety of real-world problems and turn them into products. This competition is open to all students in high school, college, and the general public.
- There will be three stages to this. Participants must submit their ideas and inventions to the council via email during the first round. The expert committee will examine the concepts through online and determine whether they can be turned into products or not. Industrialists, academics, entrepreneurs, and social activists constitute the expert committee. Short-listed candidates will be called for a demonstration or prototyping of a product after the first round of inspection. Following the demonstration, candidates will be further narrowed down. The final short-listed candidates will meet with venture capitalists or investors to discuss commercialising the idea or product. The idea or product produced using materials available in the Ramanathapuram District will be given priority.
